News : Princess Royal Visits Loch Lomond and Breeze gallery
The princess Royal visited Loch Lomond Shores and the Breeze gallery as part of the celebration to mark the tenth anniversary of the complex. During the visit Jenners General manager Alison Smith introduced major concession owners Sheila Fleet, jewellery Designer, Philip and Mary Contini of Valvona and Carolla and Breeze art gallery Director Bob Corsie.
Bob commented that he really enjoyed meeting the princess royal again, the last time was at a charity dinner in central London in 2004. Bob was delighted to chat with HRH telling her that the Breeze gallery had been at the Loch Lomond Jenners for almost three years, and had shown strong growth over the past 12 months, even during these tough times, which she admitted was great news. The Princess royal also commented on the fact that the location was a little unusual for an art gallery, to which Bob stated that the companies vision was to deliver an art for all environment, removing some of the traditional barriers that normally prevent many people from enjoying the amazing world of art. HRH asked where the galleries inspiration came from, Bob was delighted to inform her that although Europe and the rest of the UK was a large source of new and exciting work, Breeze in constantly delighted with the wide range of talent from here in Scotland, and that this remains a big focus for the future. Breeze want to show the world the wealth of talent from right here in Scotland.
