his work mainly combines figures and landscape in a naturalistic style. His work portrays the scottish landscape, capturing the highland light, utilizing stylized brushwork, as well as showcasing elements of precise hyperrealism in his paintings.
he has exhibited his work throughout scotland and has collectors across the uk. andrew had a recent successful solo exhibition in edinburgh in 2013, at the old ambulance depot space. andrew describes his works - “I attempt to create a believable space in my work, displaying raw painterly brush-work as well as highly polished photorealistic elements of the painting, as a means of drawing the viewers’ eyes to areas of the picture”.
